Kit Wislocki is currently a third-year doctoral student pursuing her PhD in clinical psychology at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). She received her BA in political science at the Ohio State University. Previously, she served as a research coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine where she collaborated with clinical psychologists and implementation scientists to improve the use of evidence-based practices with individuals at risk for suicide. Additionally, she collaborated on research focused on improving care for youth with obsessive-compulsive disorder and youth with anxiety disorders. Her doctoral training has included an externship at COPE Psychological Center where she gained experience delivering several evidence-based treatments, including CBT, ACT, and DBT.

Kit has experience working with adolescents and adults with a variety of clinical concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, and life transitions. She has experience conducting numerous psychological assessments, including with specialized populations such as military veterans and their families. Kit’s research interests focus on leveraging technology to improve care for individuals at risk for suicide and individuals who have been exposed to trauma. Kit is passionate about providing evidence-based, culturally sensitive care for her clients. On a personal note, Kit enjoys cooking, exercising, and reading in her free time.
