Lynn McFarr, Ph.D.
Dr. Lynn McFarr is the Founder and Executive Director of CBT California/DBT California. She is a Professor of Health Sciences in the Department of Psychiatry for the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine (retd).
Alexandra King, Ph.D.
Dr. Alexandra (Alex) King earned her PhD in clinical psychology at Rutgers University. There she learned to provide Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and researched the treatment to improve outcomes for clients.
Rob Montgomery, M.A.
Rob Montgomery graduated with an M.A. in General Experimental Psychology from California State University, Northridge. There he conducted research at the intersection of technology and mental health.
Brittany Drake, Ph.D.
Dr. Brittany Drake earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she minored in Quantitative Psychology.
Kara Portier, ACSW
Kara earned her Master’s degrees in Clinical Social Work and Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science from UCLA. Her practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches and focuses on helping individuals better understand and regulate intense emotions.
Miranda Parent, M.A.
Miranda Parent (she/her) is a third-year doctoral student earning her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School, Anaheim Campus. She received her B.A. in psychology from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF).
Hasana Johnson, M.A.
Hasana Johnson, MA is an advanced Doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. She holds a Master’s in Psychology from Pepperdine University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cal State Northridge.
Caleb Spiro, M.A.
Caleb Spiro, MA (he/him) is a doctoral student, continuing his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. He received his M.A. from Rutgers University and B.A. in psychology from Pitzer College.
