Phoebe Shorter graduated with a B.A. in Psychology at San Diego State University in 2021 and her M.A. in Clinical Psychology-Research from California State University, Northridge in 2024. During her master’s program, Phoebe conducted research that investigated potential protective factors that buffer the pathways from childhood adversity to mental health and suicidality through an intersectional and equitable lens. She is very passionate about ethically and effectively serving populations who face mental health challenges and need equitable support. Phoebe has a background in several aspects of clinical psychology, such as having training with therapeutic treatment modalities, assisting clinical staff in outcome support, and examining mental health challenges through various research methods. She is eager to help in however she can here at CBT California!
