Dr. Chloe Sherrill earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from The New School and completed her APA-accredited internship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She has experience providing intervention and assessment across the lifespan, working with young children, adolescents, adults, and older adults in various settings, including outpatient clinics, day programs, inpatient units, and psychiatric emergency rooms.
Dr. Sherrill is trained in a wide range of evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Analysis System of Psychotherapy (CBASP), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, Brief Psychodynamic Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Problem Management Plus (PM+).
She has specialized training in supporting patients experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) and provides mental health support to those undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) and experiencing fertility-related psychological distress. Dr. Sherrill is also experienced in working with trauma survivors, including those who have experienced trauma in the context of fertility and pregnancy.
