Miranda Parent (she/her) is a third-year doctoral student earning her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School, Anaheim Campus. She received her B.A. in psychology from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). Miranda’s research interests include mindfulness-based interventions and therapy outcomes with adolescents.

Miranda has experience working with adolescents in a school setting and with special education students. Her previous clinical experience includes psychological testing and assessment at Ocean Recovery, an inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment center for substance use and eating disorders. While there she also had experience leading process groups and psychoeducation groups using skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Miranda sees both adolescents and adults online and in the Orange County and Torrance offices.
