Ivy Levin is a licensed clinical social worker at the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. There she serves as the administrative lead for the training and dissemination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She received her BA in Psychology with a minor in Human Growth and Development from the University of New Mexico in 2007 before moving to Los Angeles. She received a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles in 2011 and became a licensed clinical social worker in 2015. Ivy trained intensively in CBT, DBT, and has earned her certification in Prolonged Exposure for trauma and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) for depression. She specializes in working with anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. Ivy provides individual and group psychotherapy at CBT/DBT California.
