
Tônia de Barros Barreto Morton is currently completing her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Alliant University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Gender Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. She has been trained in DBT and CBT. Her research interests, developed in part through her work as a research assistant at CBT California, include the interactions between physical and mental health symptoms, the role of identity in mental health outcomes, and suicide prevention.
