Psychology Extern Miranda Parent

Chief Extern
Miranda Parent is the Chief Extern at CBT California and sees both adolescents and adults. She is a fourth-year doctoral student earning her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School, Anaheim Campus. This is her second training year at CBT California and is experienced with providing high fidelity, full model DBT, CBT, and CBASP. Miranda is experienced working with clients struggling with substance use, eating disorders, anxiety, Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, depression, PTSD, and borderline personality disorder. Miranda’s research interests include mindfulness-based interventions and therapy outcomes with adolescents.
