Lily Sakhan is a licensed marriage and family therapist and doctoral candidate for a PsyD. Lily spent two years working in a partial hospitalization program with adult patients diagnosed with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, other personality disorders, substance use disorders, anxiety, and depression. Lily also completed two years working in community mental health, one of which was spent working in the welfare to work program. Lily’s previous research focused on COVID-19 affecting depression, anxiety, and work and social adjustment. Lily has received training in CBT, DBT and ACT from Harbor UCLA, in the spirit of using a variety of evidenced-based techniques as a marriage and family therapist. Lily’s doctoral dissertation is about burnout among mental health clinicians.
