Keren Shemesh received her B.A. from New York University in 2015 with a major in Psychology. She went on to receive her M.A. from New York University in Psychology in 2017 with a concentration in Forensic Psychology. Following her MA, Keren gained experience in the field of clinical psychology working as an intake coordinator at CBT California. Keren is currently in her second year pursuing her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. Her doctoral training has included working at the Pepperdine Community Counseling Center in Encino, where she provided long-term, culturally adaptive therapy to both adults and adolescents. Keren’s research interests include the subjective experience and phenomenology of individuals experiencing Auditory Verbal Hallucinations, as well as the utilization of non-pharmacological, evidence-based treatments for individuals experiencing distress due to Auditory Verbal Hallucinations.

Keren is an extern in Torrance and Beverly Hills.
