Cassandra Lloyd received her B.A. in Psychology in 2015 from Roger Williams University. After graduation, she spent three years working as a Community Residence Counselor at McLean Hospital in Massachusetts, where she was trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), while working in residential care for individuals with borderline personality disorder. Cassandra is currently attending the University of La Verne where she is a fourth-year student in the process of earning a PsyD in Clinical Psychology. Her recent training includes administering neuropsychological assessments, as well working in an intensive outpatient program for those with obsessive-compulsive disorders. Cassandra’s research interests include trauma, mindfulness, treatment outcomes related those with borderline personality disorder, as well as those with adverse childhood experiences and post-traumatic growth.
