Aileen Echiverri-Cohen, Ph.D.

Postdoctoral Fellow

Dr. Aileen Echiverri-Cohen received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Washington where she specialized in research and treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder. Dr. Echiverri-Cohen completed an APA accredited, pre-doctoral internship at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System and a clinical postdoctoral fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Additionally, she completed a research postdoctoral fellowship at the UCLA Anxiety and Depression Research Center where she pursued her current research interest in evaluating novel adjuncts to individually tailor treatments and improve outcomes for individuals with posttraumatic stress. As a member of the CBT California team. Dr. Aileen Echiverri-Cohen provides CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based therapies to adults and adolescents.

She sees clients virtually and at the Torrance office.
