Dr. Erica Rozmid, Ph.D. is an experienced clinician with clinical, research, and academic backgrounds at UCLA, Stanford University, New York University (NYU), Harbor-UCLA, and Kaiser Permanente. She is a Clinical Instructor at UCLA in the Youth Stress and Mood Program and works part-time at CBT/DBT California seeing children, adolescents, and adults.Dr. Rozmid is an LGBTQ+ affirming and culturally responsive therapist; she is committed to working collaboratively with patients from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

At New York University (NYU) Child Study Center, Dr. Rozmid specialized in Organizational Skills Training (OST) for individuals with ADHD and was trained by one of the leading Psychologists in the treatment of Selective Mutism and anxiety disorders. Dr. Rozmid completed her APA-accredited internship at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center in the Bronx, NY. Considered one of the busiest Emergency Rooms in the United States, much of her time was spent providing psychiatric risk assessments to patients with wide-varying diagnoses including depression, substance use, and psychosis.

Her research interests include clinical economics, dissemination, and implementation of evidence-based practices, primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). As a Research Coordinator at Stanford University, Dr. Rozmid played a role in several studies including novel intervention treatments and diagnostic principles for anxiety disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorders.Dr. Rozmid aims to improve the community’s general knowledge of mental health disorders by empowering individuals to seek the most appropriate treatment.Dr. Rozmid has presented her research at the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy (ABCT), Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), and has contributed 20+ peer-reviewed publications to the larger psychology community. She was the Editor-in-Chief of DBT Bulletin 2019-2020, a peer-reviewed research newsletter for the DBT community.

Dr. Erica Rozmid earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University and B.A from the University of Colorado at Boulder. In her free time, she can be found skiing during winter, walking her dog, or at the beach.

Dr. Rozmid sees children, adolescents, and adults at our Beverly Hills office.
