Dr. Tanya Shtutman earned her Psy.D. from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. She completed her APA-Accredited Internship at Pacific Clinics, working with individuals across the life span providing individual, group, and family treatment as well as conducting psychological evaluations. The focus of her training has been on providing evidenced based treatments, specifically Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Seeking Safety. She has obtained training in a variety of settings including juvenile hall, schools, and community mental health. Dr. Shtutman is passionate about providing treatment related to difficulties with anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, identity development, transitional life changes, and trauma. Dr. Shtutman is a multilingual therapist, and is able to provide treatment in Spanish and Russian. She is also a post-doctoral fellow at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center teaching and supervising graduate level psychology students.
